Care Where You Are

Telehealth Across California

Telehealth offers secure video sessions for clients located in California at the time of the appointment. We meet for the same 50 minutes, from a private space with a stable connection. Your concern belongs in the conversation, even when you cannot reach the office.

Who This Is For

Teens, young adults and adults can ask about video care, as can couples and families. When office travel is difficult, we can talk about video options. Availability varies by clinician and service.

  • California-based teens and adults
  • Couples and family conversations
  • Clients considering video care
  • People asking about daytime sessions

Focus of Care

What We Work On

  • A Private Setting

A private place where you can speak without being overheard.

  • A Stable Connection

A stable connection that supports a video conversation with your clinician.

  • Time for the Session

The full 50 minutes without other tasks competing for attention.

  • Format Preferences

Your reasons for choosing video or an office appointment.

How We Work

On video, we can talk about a specific worry, relationship exchange or mood pattern. Your clinician explains exercises and asks what feels useful in that setting. If privacy or connection problems interfere, we want to hear about them.

  • Conversation about goals
  • Skills practice on video
  • Regular client feedback
  • Discussion of format fit

What Can Shift

Video may remove the trip to the office, while the clinical goals remain yours to choose. We check whether the setting supports conversations about panic or family concerns, and talk about adjustments when something makes the work difficult.

What Sessions Look Like

Each therapy appointment lasts 50 minutes while you are in California. Some clinicians offer weekday daytime telehealth. We can talk about availability and what you need for a private setting.

For teens ages 13 to 17, we talk about parent involvement and the setting for video care. If you want to alternate with San Diego office visits, we discuss clinician availability and whether that arrangement fits your care.

Fees in Brief

Individual, couples and family sessions are 50 minutes. We are in network with many plans and provide superbills for out-of-network benefits. Contact us for rates.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I Attend While Traveling Out of State?

No, sessions require you to be in California. We can talk about travel plans before scheduling and when you will be back.

Is Telehealth as Effective?

It depends on the concern and setting. Video can support conversations and skills practice; your clinician can discuss whether it fits your work.

Can I Switch Between Video and Office Sessions?

It depends on your clinician’s availability and your care. We talk about both formats before confirming a change; not every clinician offers in-person appointments.
