About the Practice
New Constellation Family Therapy offers goal oriented care grounded in clinical experience. In conversations about work, family, and mental health, we focus on what works, what helps, and what makes sense.

Who This Is For
We see teens, young adults, adults, couples, and families. Eating disorders and severe autism fall outside our practice's fit. If those are your main concerns, we can talk about referrals.
- Teens 13 to 17
- Young adults 18 to 25
- Adults 26 to 64
Focus of Care
What We Work On
Individual Concerns
Anxiety, mood changes, stress, and the pressure of life transitions.
Relationships
Communication difficulties and the arguments that keep coming back.
Adolescence
School pressure and the concerns parents and teens bring.
Psychosis-Focused Care
Unusual experiences and the family's role in understanding them.
How We Work
When an approach isn't helping with a concern, we want to hear that. In sessions, we listen to your feedback and revisit goals, while attending to relationships and the strengths you already use.
- CBT and MI
- EFT and Gottman Method
- Mindfulness-based and solution-focused approaches
- PIER model and FIT

What Can Shift
Our name refers to separate points forming a meaningful picture. Therapy connects thoughts, history, and relationships so you can examine choices with more context. The Home page's Our Name section introduces this idea through the owner's artwork. In a session, that can mean connecting a current disagreement with earlier experiences, then considering what you want to say or do differently in that relationship now.
What Sessions Look Like
Our 50-minute sessions take place at 9655 Granite Ridge Drive, Suite 200, San Diego, or by telehealth anywhere in California.
Joseph Edwards, LMFT, leads our team with Travis Wasserman and Cameron Boquet, MA, who work under his supervision. We can talk about which clinician's focus fits the concerns bringing you in.
Fees in Brief
Individual, couples and family sessions are 50 minutes. We are in network with many plans and provide superbills for out-of-network benefits. Contact us for rates.
