Care for Adolescents
Teen Therapy
School pressure, changing friendships, and conflict at home can make it hard for a teen to explain what is happening. Therapy offers time to talk about those experiences without needing a polished explanation.

Who This Is For
We see teens ages 13 to 17 with anxiety, panic, low mood, questions about identity, or family conflict. Early signs of unusual experiences can also be discussed calmly, with attention to what the teen describes.
- School and peer stress
- Mood and anxiety concerns
- Identity and family relationships
Focus of Care
What We Work On
School Pressure
Expectations, workload, and school moments that stay on your mind.
Anxiety and Panic
Thoughts and physical reactions when a situation feels overwhelming.
Low Mood
Changes in interest, motivation, and the way everyday life feels.
Identity and Peers
Belonging, friendships, and questions about who you are becoming.
Family Conflict
Concerns about rules and relationships that are difficult to put into words.
How We Work
A teen may know more about a difficult school moment than they can say at first. We help put the thoughts into words and practice a response. Parents are involved thoughtfully, with discussion of what supports the teen's care. We draw on these approaches according to the goals and the teen's feedback.
- CBT
- Mindfulness-based approaches
- Solution-focused therapy

What Can Shift
A teen might want to talk about a worry, notice panic sooner, or make a clearer request at home. We ask what feels useful to them and what parents notice.
