Get in Touch

Start with a conversation.

We can talk about fit, availability, insurance, or a free 15-minute consultation. You don’t need every question ready before calling.

What Happens Next

  1. 01

    Reach Out

You can call, text or email with your concern and preferred appointment format. A clinician whose profile you read can be part of the conversation, or we can discuss fit without a name in mind.

  2. 02

    Talk by Phone

A free 15-minute phone consultation gives us time to talk about care, availability and rates. Knowing you are reaching out for a teen, couple or family helps us discuss the relevant format. Your questions are part of that conversation.

  3. 03

    Discuss Your First Session

Your first therapy appointment is 50 minutes, in person in San Diego or by telehealth while you are located in California. We can confirm the clinician and format together beforehand. One recent concern is enough to begin, without a complete account of your history.

Before Your Appointment

If you plan to use insurance, ask your plan about outpatient mental health, telehealth coverage, deductible, copay and prior authorization. We are in network with many plans and provide superbills for out-of-network benefits; coverage depends on your plan.

For video care, a private space and stable connection matter for the full appointment. If you prefer the San Diego office, we can discuss in-person availability by phone. Hours are by appointment, and we can talk before you plan a visit.

Urgent Support

This contact page is not a crisis service. For immediate danger, call 911 or contact the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. Use those services rather than waiting for a response to a phone message, text or email to the practice.
