Ways We Help

Individual Therapy

Career demands, family tension, or relationship worries can leave little room to notice your own needs. Individual therapy gives teens and adults time to examine those pressures and choose what to work on.

Who This Is For

We see people overwhelmed with career, family, and relationship issues, including those managing anxiety, panic, or mood dysregulation. You can bring a recent change or a pattern that has followed you for years.

  • Teens 13 to 17
  • Young adults 18 to 25
  • Adults 26 to 64

Focus of Care

What We Work On

  • Anxiety and Panic

Worry, physical alarm, and situations you have started avoiding.

  • Mood Dysregulation

Emotional changes and your responses when feelings become difficult.

  • Burnout and Stress

Demands at work, school, or home that leave you worn out.

  • Life Transitions

Decisions, changing roles, and questions about what matters next.

How We Work

We make time for introspection, reframing of thoughts, and practicing new skills to manage emotions. We might examine one difficult conversation, the thoughts it brought up, and a response you want to try. Your feedback helps us decide what to keep or change. Questions about a skill are welcome.

What Can Shift

Your goals might include recognizing panic sooner, responding differently during conflict, or making a decision about work. We look at how those goals relate to your week, including what felt different and what still felt difficult.

You and your clinician choose a focus for the conversation. A recent stressful moment can give us a specific starting point for reflection or skills practice.

Frequently Asked Questions

How Does the First Session Go?

We talk about what brought you in and how it affects your days. One concern is enough to begin; your whole history can wait.

In Person or Telehealth?

Both formats are available. We can talk about clinician availability and which setting fits your life in California.

How Long Does Therapy Last?

It depends on your goals. We review progress and the usefulness of sessions together rather than setting a standard number.

Can I Switch Clinicians?

We want to hear what feels missing or uncomfortable. Together, we can discuss your preferences and the options available.

In a free 15-minute phone consultation, you can start with the concern taking up the most room today. We can work from there.
