How We Work
Our Approach
Our work is goal oriented and collaborative: we ask what you want to address and whether the session helps with that concern. We draw on clinical approaches in service of what works, what helps, and what makes sense.

Who This Is For
Teens, adults, couples and families can ask how a method relates to their concern. Panic and recurring arguments may call for different methods. If an exercise misses the point, we want to hear that and understand why.
- Individual goals
- Couple and family concerns
- Questions about methods

What Can Shift
Feedback Informed Treatment means we regularly ask how therapy is going and adjust the work. An unclear exercise or a concern that now matters more is worth discussing. Your feedback helps us keep sessions connected to what you need.
What Sessions Look Like
In a 50-minute appointment, we may revisit your goal, examine a recent situation and ask what you want to try next. Sessions take place in San Diego or by telehealth anywhere in California.
What you notice between appointments helps us decide together whether the priorities or methods need to change.
Fees in Brief
Individual, couples and family sessions are 50 minutes. We are in network with many plans and provide superbills for out-of-network benefits. Contact us for rates.
